About Betsy
Betsy Utterback – Nod Hill Interiors
Betsy Utterback began her career in interior design after graduating from Sweet Briar College, studying in Paris, and completing her MA in Art History from the University of Wisconsin.
She began her career as an associate director of Twelmeyer-Krumbholz Fine Arts in Milwaukee, WI, and assistant to the curator of Decorative Arts at the Milwaukee Museum of Art. Betsy launched her design business in 1988 in the Philadelphia area, when she was a project manager for a construction company and had many requests to transform newly constructed houses into homes. Five years and three babies later, Betsy and her family moved to Paris, where she was inspired by the elegant simplicity of French design. After returning to the States, she worked with Newtown Design Group in Bucks County, PA, helping clients achieve their personal style.
Betsy is pleased to share her interior decorator expertise and experiences with homeowners in Hilton Head, Bluffton and the surrounding Lowcountry.
